If you have ever ordered a caramel latte or any other kind of flavoured coffee in a coffee shop then it is almost certain that they will be using a Monin syrup to flavour your drink.

Perhaps you find coffee a little bland at times and you like to spice it up a bit with a flavoured syrup but you are reluctant to buy a big bottle in case you don’t like it.

This taster set is perfect for you to try out all of the most popular flavours without wasting your money on a big bottle that you will find in the back of the drinks cupboard in about 5 years because you forgot that it was there.

The set contains 5 miniature bottles of 5cl. 1 of each of the following flavours:

  • Caramel
  • Vanilla
  • Hazelnut
  • Gingerbread
  • Chocolate Cookie

You can adjust the amount that you add to each drink to suit your own individual taste but in order not to overpower the flavour of the coffee with syrup, we would recommend adding 3 teaspoons of syrup to a latte which will give you a lovely balance of coffee blended with a subtle syrup flavour.

If cappuccino is your drink of choice then reduce the amount of syrup to two tablespoons as you will be adding less milk than you would with a latte.

The good thing about this syrup is that you don’t have to have a coffee machine to make a great flavoured coffee. Sure it will taste great when added to a double espresso with milk but it will equally enhance the flavour if you add it to a cup of instant coffee.

As a nice little touch, this taster set includes a couple of latte art stencils so you can surprise your loved one with a cappuccino that has a heart sitting on top of the foam and all you need to do is sprinkle the chocolate on top to guarantee being in their good books for the rest of the month!

This is not the type of product you need to keep in the fridge once opened and it will keep perfectly well stored in any cupboard away from direct sunlight.

Monin dates back to 1912 in France and is now sold worldwide in more than 150 countries. The heritage of this famous brand is now in its third generation of family ownership and there is something special about a product that has stayed in the same family for more than 100 years.

There are lots of alternatives available but there is a reason why Monin is used in most coffee shops worldwide because it’s the best and by far the most complimentary flavoured syrup and will enhance your coffee experience.

The thing we love most about Monin is that they only make syrup for adding to drinks – mainly coffee and cocktails. They are not distracted by other products like some of the other syrup producers.

If the only thing you do every day is make the best possible syrup to flavour drinks and your entire companies future depends on it then it is very likely that you pay attention to making sure that it is the best in the world and Monin have proven that to be the case over the last 100 years.

Great as a gift and equally good if you want to just try out 5 different flavours before committing to buying a bigger bottle. Highly recommended.
