This is a really good looking machine designed in black and a matt stainless steel finish.
There is a coffee scoop that slots neatly into the left-hand side of the machine which camouflages with the black matt finish of the coffee machine itself.
The digital display on the front is large and easy to read. Just below are the 7 buttons which do everything that you need to make a great cup of coffee
The water reservoir sits on the left-hand side of the machine and is clearly visible without having to move it.
It measures at 23cm x 32.5cm x 20.5cm. An extremely small device which will fit into any kitchen.
This filter coffee machine has very few individual parts making it simple and straightforward to use.
This is one of Russell Hobbs best-selling machines and has been for a while. This is a machine that has stood the test of time.

The jug and water reservoir have markings on it to make it easy for you to see the number of cups being filled into the jug. The markings are 4-6 cups, 6-9 cups, 8-12 cups and 15 cups (maximum).
For under 5 cups of coffee you simply turn the coffee machine on and press the button that shows 1-4 and that’s all you need to do to get the coffee flowing into the jug.
The coffee machine will alert you with a beeping noise once the water reservoir is depleted and the desired number of cups have been filled into the jug.
At that point the hotplate will come on and keep the coffee hot. You will see a status light on the front of the machine which will tell you how fresh the coffee is in terms of minutes since brewing:
Blue = 0-20 minutes since brewing
Flashing blue = 20-40 minutes since brewing
Please note that you should try and drink your freshly brewed coffee within 40 minutes of brewing as after this time the quality of the coffee will start to deteriorate
This machine is fully programmable so you can fill with water and coffee and set it to be ready when you come down for breakfast in the morning
There is no need to add paper filters to this machine ensuring good cost savings over time.
You can go for as little as 2 cups which makes this an extremely versatile machine that can be used for 1 person or an entire large family.
The water reservoir has the same markings as the jug itself so the way to fill the reservoir is to fill the jug with the exact number of cups that you want and then empty into the water reservoir.
Then you simply open the lid and add coffee to the filter as required.
As a guide you should add 1 level scoop of coffee for each cup which will produce medium strength coffee suitable for most palates. You can experiment yourself with the quantity of coffee to get it just how you like it.
Programming the machine to be ready in the morning is easy. Press the timer button, set he time and then press auto. Done.
Cleaning is easy. Remove the filter from the filter holder, empty and run under water then you are good to go again.
To get the very best out of this machine you should consider buying whole coffee beans and grinding them yourself before adding the ground coffee. This way you will ensure maximum freshness and taste with each and every cup.
