Delonghi have long been associated with top quality when it comes to coffee machines.This is a brand that has been at the top of their game for a long time.
When it comes to coffee glasses and especially speciality ones like these Cappuccino Thermo glasses there are so many to choose from that it is difficult to know whether to go for something less expensive that looks the same or pay a little more and go with a brand that already has a good reputation and you know you can trust them.
In our experience with this type of product it can be a little hit and miss so you might get lucky if you go for a cheaper version but for a couple of quid you need to ask yourself if it is worth it.
What tends to happen with the cheaper double walled glasses is that water can find its way in between each layer and the water quickly turns stale and discolours rendering the glass useless.
These glasses are proven, tried and tested over many years and the overall satisfaction level is extremely high.
So you might pay a bit more but you are getting something that you know will stand the test of time.
These glasses have a maximum capacity of 190ml which is pretty much the perfect volume for a Cappuccino so if yourself half filling a taller glass or using a cup that you can’t see into and therefore you get the coffee strength wrong then these are worth a look.
First off they look really cool. These glasses have a beautiful modern look and feel to them.
In our opinion drinking coffee form a glass like this actually makes the coffee taste even nicer. It’s probably psychological but a great cappuccino in a great looking glass feels like the perfect coffee.
There are benefits other than how good they look. They are very durable and if looked after will last you for years.
You also don’t need to worry about making ring marks on the table because the double wall will protect from that.
Also, because of the double wall it will keep your coffee hotter for longer which is nice if you like to enjoy your drink over say a 15 minute window and not gulp it down in a few minutes.
Not the cheapest product on the market for this type of glass but certainly one you can trust
These will work superbly well as a gift for any coffee lover or can be enjoyed purely as a self indulgent purchase for everyday use.
