coffee quotes

Quotes are a wonderful source of inspiration so when you combine them with coffee quotes you double the impact.

Here are a collection of my favourite coffee quotes and how you can use each one to enhance your life!

1.“They say money can’t buy happiness but money can buy coffee and that is good enough for me”

Drinking coffee can be a daily habit or it can be an experience that you enjoy every day.

I prefer to use coffee to create something that provides me with pleasure every time I smell the aroma and every time a sip passes across my lips and the flavour explodes in my mouth.

If you drink instant coffee then you will have no idea what I’m talking about. Throw your instant coffee away and enter a world that you never knew existed.

A world where every coffee you drink makes your senses explode with joy and you are surrounded by happiness and ecstasy.

Ok. Maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration but I firmly believe that you can improve the quality of your life if you put just a little thought into preparing your coffee instead of just reaching for the jar of instant.

There are many different options available to you when it comes to beating the hell out instant coffee and depending on the option you choose it can be even quicker to make than putting on the kettle.

POD coffee machines can have a great coffee ready for you in 30 seconds and if you are willing to invest just a few extra minutes then you can replicate a coffee shop coffee right in the comfort of your own home.

Here is an article on all of the different options available to make the best possible cup of coffee. You’ll be surprised at how cheap it can be.

2.“Even a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee at all”

One of the biggest benefits of coffee is the energy boost and increased level of awareness and concentration that it provides.

This is of course as a direct result of the caffeine. Caffeine stimulates parts of the brain that gives you the kick you need to get yourself going in the morning or to get you through the post-lunch blues and push through the afternoon at work.

It’s easy to drink just any old coffee to just get the caffeine kick and therefore a bad cup of coffee is better than none.

It doesn’t have to be that way. If you are used to drinking plain old instant coffee at work or even worse, you drink coffee from a coffee machine then you can transform your life with an Aeropress coffee maker.

It’s tiny yet hugely effective and highly portable. Just add coffee and water, plunge down and you will have the best-tasting coffee you have ever had at work.

Here is the full review of the Aeropress coffee maker.

3.“How do I take my coffee? Very seriously indeed”

If you already take your coffee very seriously then there are numerous ways to further enhance your experience even further.

By far the best way to replicate a coffee shop experience is to do what they do in coffee shops to make your favourite drink.

They use part machine and part human. Sure, you can use a bean to cup coffee machine and have a decent cup of coffee delivered to you at the push of a button in about 60 seconds.

But if you really want to drink Starbucks coffee at home in exactly the same way as they serve it up to you then you will need to get involved in the process yourself.

They have yet to make a coffee machine that can control all of the variables that make up a truly great cup of coffee without any human intervention.

Getting the tamp just right and the coffee dose spot on with just the right amount of water being delivered through the coffee grounds for just the right amount of time needs a human touch.

If you take your coffee seriously then these things matter.

These are the best semi-automatic coffee machines that will produce coffee from heaven.

4.“Support your local caffeine dealers”

In coffee language that means buying the best coffee beans that you can from a local coffee roaster.

If you live in or around a decent sized city then you should be able to find a couple of independent coffee shops.

A lot of the time these coffee shops also roast their own coffee beans and there is nothing like drinking coffee from beans that have been freshly roasted.

If you normally buy your coffee from the supermarket do a quick Google search for local coffee roasters or speciality coffee shop and you may well find a little nugget a few miles from where you live.

You will pay more but you will certainly taste the difference.

If you don’t have anywhere local to get some freshly roasted coffee from then here is an article that explains how to choose and buy coffee beans.

5.“Coffee spelt backwards is eeffoc. I don’t give eeffoc until I have had my first coffee in the morning”

This one just makes me laugh every time I read it. When you laugh you feel better.

Coffee always makes me feel better so if I can use coffee spelt backwards to make me feel even better that works for me.

6.“Coffee isn’t a drug it’s a vitamin”

That quote is, of course, a little tongue in cheek but not as much as you may think.

Thousands of studies have been conducted into coffee consumption over the years and there is conclusive proof that people that drink coffee every day live longer and are less likely to contract life-threatening illness.

That’s not just some made up nonsense. This article explains how coffee is actually good for you.

7.“Everything in moderation, except coffee”

I used to drink 2 cups of coffee a day because I thought the rule of moderation must apply to coffee.

Once I realised that if you drink 4-6 cups of coffee a day it cannot cause you any harm and in fact, on the contrary, it can help to stave off ill health I started drinking a cup of coffee every 2-3 hours whilst I am awake.

Never after 4 pm though as I get paranoid that the caffeine will keep me awake.

8.“Life is too short to drink cheap coffee”

No matter how much money you spend on a coffee machine, if you use cheap coffee it won’t taste very good.

Once you realise that you can turn drinking coffee from a daily habit into a daily ritual that actually makes each day better, you will be more than happy to spend a little more on some good coffee.

When we say good, we don’t mean expensive. You just need to know where to look.

Here are some suggestions for tried and tested coffee that will make you smile everytime.

9.“Wake up and smell the coffee”

Probably the most famous coffee quote of them all.

What its really saying is that you need to get yourself together before it all goes pear-shaped.

If you translate that into coffee then that means you need to throw away whatever jar of instant coffee you have in the cupboard, get yourself together, buy yourself a coffee machine, buy some decent coffee and then you really will be able to wake up and smell the coffee.

For as little as £10 you can buy a cafetière that will produce a coffee far superior to any instant coffee.

Here are some suggestions of excellent value for money cafetière’s

If you are looking for something a little more extravagant then check out some of the best bean to cup coffee machines.

10.“Coffee is a kind of magic you can drink”

Once you understand the little nuances of coffee you start to appreciate it more and more as time goes by.

There is so much choice and so much variety that it becomes a never-ending journey of discovery that never ceases to surprise and delight.

If you don’t already own a coffee machine then treat yourself to one and if you already own one then try a different coffee that you haven’t tried before.

Coffee is one of life’s pleasures that should be constantly enjoyed and explored.
